Personal information

Municipality Finance handles personal information in accordance with the Finnish Personal Data Act and the legislation governing credit institutions. Municipality Finance ensures the privacy of the data subjects and handles all personal information with regard to privacy and confidentiality. Municipality Finance uses the personal information on data subjects to services related tasks and customer relations. The data file is also used for marketing directed at the customers.

 
The data file consists of information acquired from the data subject, the data subject’s representatives and public records maintained by authorities. In addition to this, the data subject’s phone conversations with Municipality Finance’s representatives and messages may be recorded so that their contents can later be verified. Municipality Finance will not disclose any information to third parties without the specific approval of the data subject unless otherwise required by law.
