Social finance can be granted to customers’ projects that produce widespread social benefits. In this report, we summarise the impact of our social finance projects.

In 2025, we also published a new edition of our Social Bond Framework to harmonise our sustainable finance frameworks and clarify the eligibility criteria. Under the new framework, project assessments are now carried out by our in-house specialists rather than external experts.

Sustainability is embedded in our customer interaction and social finance themes have further broadened and deepened our dialogue. At year-end 2025, we had granted financing to 174 social projects, with the outstanding amount of social finance totalling EUR 2.8 billion.

Sustainability is embedded in our customer interaction, and social finance themes have further broadened and deepened our dialogue.
